bugr

m. bend, curve; the bight (inside) of a ring (í bug hringinum); of the bent fingers (~ fingranna); the concave side of the sails (sá af landi í bug allra seglanna); a curve, disorder, of a line of men or ships (rétta þann bug, er á var orðinn flotanum); aka em á bug, aka bug á em, to make one give way, repel.
