(á m., í m.), prep. with gen., among, between; m. vár or vár á m., among us; sat þar Þórhalla m. brúða, Th. sat between the brides; ellipt., ganga ~, í m., to intercede as peacemaker (gekk þá Njáll í m., svá at hvárir handsöluðu ödrum grið).
