meðallag

n. average; þat var með enu betra ~i, a good average; í ~i, ~i, not very, not over well (segir mér þó í ~i hugr um); ~i góðgjarn, not too benevolent; skipti vár hafa verið sum góð, en sum til ~s, our dealings have been, some good, some only middling.
