reifa Old Icelandic word can mean:
- (-ða, ðr), v.
- 1) to enrich, present with (hringum rauðum reifði hón húskarla);
- 2) to mention, disclose (r. engan hlut eðr kvittu í konungshöll);
- 3) r. mál, to sum up a case;
- 4) to end or result in (r. illu); þat mun eigi góðu r., that will bear no good.
