tvennr

a. consisting of two different things or kinds, twofold (tvenn frásögn); í tvennu lagi, in two parts; tvennir, two (á skóginum voru tvennar leiðir); nú ferr tvennum sögunum fram, two tales now run parallel; tvennir skór, two pair of shoes; neut. tvennt, two things (sides, parts); hefir mér tvennt um sýnzt, there has seemed to be two sides to the matter.
